SCHOOL MEAL PROGRAM
Navajo households are among the most food insecure in the entire country. Your gift of a school meal ensures nearly 200 children from these homes can rely on at least two complete meals every day at St. Bonaventure Indian School.
Please Help Feed Navajo Children This School Year
Once again this year, St. Bonaventure Indian School will provide students most affected by hunger with a school meal from food backpacks for the weekends. Each backpack will contain enough non-perishable, easy-to-prepare food items to ensure they have something to eat when they aren’t at our school.
These are just a few examples of how your gift can help cover the cost of feeding our student body throughout the school year.
- Your gift of $25.00 will provide one St. Bonaventure student with breakfast and lunch for a week.
- $50.00 will cover the cost of a backpack filled with food.
- $100.00 will feed a Navajo schoolchild breakfast and lunch for a month.
- Your extraordinary gift of $450.00 will feed a St. Bonaventure child for an entire semester of the school year.
Please offer your gift today to help the Mission keep our students fed so they can concentrate more on learning and less on where their next meal will come from. Thank you!
